Kat, RVT

Kat Burke has served as the Practice Manager of Ladera Ranch Animal Hospital since 2025 and has been dedicated to the field of veterinary medicine for more than 20 years. As a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), she combines her clinical background with a passion for leadership, client service, and creating an exceptional experience for both pets and their families.

Kat is deeply passionate about ensuring that every community has access to outstanding veterinary care close to home. She believes that a neighborhood animal hospital should be more than just a place to receive medical care—it should be a welcoming, comfortable environment where both pets and pet parents feel genuinely cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

One of the accomplishments Kat is most proud of is helping make high-quality veterinary medicine accessible and affordable for the families in the surrounding communities. Under her leadership, Ladera Ranch Animal Hospital strives to offer a wide range of services that allow clients to receive the care their pets need without having to travel far from home. 

Outside of the hospital, Kat enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys. Their family also includes two beloved dogs and two backyard chickens. When she's not at the hospital, you'll often find her at a baseball, football or soccer field watching her kids play sports.
